What's Hot and What's Not

The fact that Eurocar is as busy as we are, never ceases to amaze me (and I always thank God and count my blessings). I mean, don't you guys know it's a recession out there? Of course you do. My clients are smart and they are smart with their money. Although I would gather that most of my clients could buy any car at any price, they don't, because they know what's hot and what's not. Hot is saving $60,000 to $100,000 on one purchase. Not is loosing that much when you drive off the lot in your brand new (fill in the blank).
And speaking of hot, when it comes to cars, Eurocar's got the formula right. We have amazing cars, better than fair prices, and an owner, Tilo Steurer, who truly is honest and full of integrity. For those of you who know me well and have been with me for years, you know that truthfulness and principle are what matters most to me, in life and in business. To work for someone that shares my core values, in an industry that is known for it's ugly side, is essential to me.
But enough about all that. It's really ALL ABOUT THE CARS. For years my forte has been selling Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche, but Eurocar has taken my specialty to the next level. In addition to selling those fabulous three, we are really focusing on Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and Ferrari.

Let's just say...I have the BEST job in the world!

Back to hot, right now my hottest selling brand is Aston Martin. There is a certain mystique to these cars.
Think Bond. James Bond.
Even here in Newport Beach where everyone drives expensive cars, you won't see many. We sell primarily 2005-2009 models. The cars are only a few years old with 2,000 - 15,000 miles. These were $130,000-$265,000 cars new. I sell them for about half of there original price, that's hot. Some folks have a fear of maintaining these cars, however it seems to be unfounded, especially with 2005 models and newer.
Basically, all they require is a service once a year, regardless of mileage. I have a few 2007 models with only 5,000 miles and they still need to be serviced yearly. That service is only a glorified oil change that runs about $550 at a Aston Martin dealer. You might be able to get it done cheaper at a good independent shop, but I think that's a pretty fair price to maintain the sexiest car on the road. Aston Martin also recommends a 3 year "major service" that runs about $1,600.
One tip to remember anytime you service your car, make sure that they log all of the information into their main computer( all dealers do now) also, make sure they
stamp your service book and you keep the receipt with the the service book
The more records you have the higher your car's value is.
As far warranty on Aston's, it is 3 years but you can purchase an extended warranty from the dealer. They average $3,800 per year and I recommend them over any aftermarket warranty currently available.
If you've driven an Aston Martin, you know what they are all about. PASSION!
The cars lines are sleek and aggressive. The interior coach work is pure art.
And then there's the sound...there's nothing this side of heaven that makes the sound or notes that come through the exhaust pipes. Just yesterday, I drive down Coast Highway in a DB9 Volante and listened to the most beautiful sound ever. No, not the ocean, the CAR!
That's hot.
